A Dog, A Seagull, and A Wave

So I had a chance to go down to San Diego again this summer and this time, instead of taking photos of the beach I finally took out my 50mm F/1.4 that was collecting dust to take photos of things I chanced upon at the beach. I basically chanced upon…

A dog… I’m a dog guy, but I wouldn’t mind if it was a cute kitten instead :D This dog was fun and very photogenic! It posed for my camera and even initiated a handshake with me!

a seagull… They were everywhere. Very dangerous operating under them :D…

and a big wave… Most people wouldn’t believe it if I told them I was standing in the sun with minimal clothing on for 15 minutes in the same position wave watching and waiting for the right time to capture these and then come out un-sunburnt. Theres just something very calming about this…
